Let us not forget what this really comes down to: fear. Fear that gender equality ground gained will be lost. Fear of another way in which men might possibly be able to exploit women’s social vulnerabilities.
This is why one of the best ways to fight the fear is by being vocal. When trans people are talk about their experiences, their struggles, and their successes, they create a humanizing front.
You know what? I’m trans, a parent, a lover, a friend, a worker, a student, an activist, and a feminist; and no amount of whining from the opposition can change that.
Be happy. It pisses the radical feminists off. :D
